Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Roy, UT, seeks a Sr. Staff Systems Engineer to support the Sentinel program. You will lead architecture, requirements management and MBSE activities across large teams, applying Cameo and other modeling tools to define interfaces and ensure traceability.

The role requires DoD clearances, strong leadership, and experience in systems engineering for defense programs. A 9/80 schedule and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 14+ years of experience, or Master's with 12+ years, or PhD with 9+ years.
• U.S. citizen with active DoD Secret clearance and recent investigation date.
• 1+ year of experience managing requirements in DOORS.
• 3+ years of experience with Systems Engineering, Integration & Test (SEIT) processes.
• 3+ years of MBSE tools experience (Cameo) and familiarity with Agile tools (JIRA/Confluence).
• 3+ years of experience in one or more: C2, cybersecurity, communications, facility design, or military aerospace development.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with program IPT to develop SE artifacts and architecture content.
• Develop and mature architecture content for large programs.
• Define system requirements and ensure traceability in models.
• Develop system architecture using Cameo and other MBSE tools.
• Lead L2 C&L specification, interfaces, and tool integration teams.
• Coordinate external interface control documents and data architecture governance.
