Job summary

Voyager Technologies in California is seeking engineers to develop models and control algorithms for propulsion, flight control, and guidance subsystems, supporting system simulation architectures.

You will perform dynamic system studies, validate models against test data, and contribute to design reviews while collaborating with GNC, software, systems, and test teams. Eligibility for DoD clearance is required; 4–7 years in aerospace experience, MATLAB/Simulink and Python skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s in systems/aerospace/mechanical/electrical engineering or related STEM field.
• 4–7 years modeling, simulation, control systems, or estimation algorithm development in aerospace/defense.

Responsibilities

• Develop models and control algorithms for propulsion, flight control, and guidance subsystems.
• Support development of system simulation architectures for design iteration, verification, and validation.
• Perform dynamic system studies and data analysis to validate models and improve fidelity.
• Support control system topology definition, gain-tuning methodologies, and model anchoring techniques.
• Contribute to program performance engineering through requirements derivation and analyses.
• Apply physics-based modeling to subsystems and support planning for new programs.
• Collaborate with GNC, software, systems, and test teams; participate in reviews.
• Author documentation and mentor junior engineers.
