Job summary

FleetPride is seeking a Mobile Technician III to master preventative maintenance on heavy-duty trucks and trailers. You will perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, and component replacements, and may train other technicians while working in-shop between service calls.

You must have 7+ years of experience with Class 7 & 8 trucks, a valid driver's license, and be able to lift 50 lbs. CDL is preferred; tool kit required. Join a leader in the heavy-duty parts industry.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience repairing class 7 & 8 trucks and trailers.
• Diagnostic experience in vehicle systems and components.
• Training experience with shop staff.
• Welding experience.
• Air Brake Certification.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• CDL preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine damage or malfunction and provide preventative maintenance solutions.
• Perform routine maintenance like oil changes, lubrication, and filter replacements.
• Repair, reline, replace, and adjust brakes and related components.
• Test drive vehicles and components using appropriate equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, exhaust, steering, and air conditioning systems.
• Train new service shop employees on company procedures.
• Review service orders for completion and quality before delivery to customers.
