Job summary

Lab49 is seeking a Mobile Team Tech Lead to own the technical direction and delivery of client engagements. You’ll design systems, write code when it matters most, and guide architectural decisions while multiplying the effectiveness of engineers.

You’ll work closely with stakeholders, designers, product partners, and leadership to ensure solutions are technically sound, aligned with business goals, and delivered with excellence on-site in NYC’s WTC area.

Qualifications

• 10–12+ years of experience designing and building complex software systems.
• 4+ years leading Agile teams.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and native Android development.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and third‑party libraries.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps.
• Understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and best practices.
• Excellent communication with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
