Job summary

Lab49 is seeking a Mobile Team Tech Lead to own technical direction and delivery for client engagements in the financial sector. You will lead engineers, design systems, and contribute code when needed, focusing on scalable mobile solutions for banking onboarding and money movement.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, designers, and Lab49 leadership to ensure solutions are technically sound and aligned with business goals. This is an on-site role in NYC's WTC area.

Qualifications

• 10–12+ years of experience designing and building complex software systems.
• Proficiency in Swift and native iOS development tools (SwiftUI, UIKit).
• Experience in consumer banking onboarding and account management.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third‑party libraries.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and CI/CD for mobile apps.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and deliver iOS/Android applications for client projects.
• Lead architecture decisions and guide engineers toward high-quality outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, designers, product partners, and leadership to ensure technically sound solutions.
• Lead a hands‑on team, writing code when it matters and ensuring timely delivery.
