Job summary

Lab49 is seeking an iOS Team Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of high-quality iOS applications for leading financial clients. You will own technical direction, mentor engineers, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions align with business goals.

This is an on-site role in the World Trade Center area of NYC, requiring strong leadership and hands-on coding when needed. You will lead a team focusing on onboarding, account management, and money movement initiatives

Qualifications

• 10-12+ years of experience designing and building complex, commercial-grade software systems.
• 4+ years leading Agile teams.
• Proficiency in Swift and native iOS development tools (SwiftUI, UIKit).
• Experience in consumer banking including onboarding and account management is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and deliver iOS Swift applications for client projects.
• Lead the technical direction and delivery of client engagements.
• Write code when necessary and guide architectural decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, designers, product partners, and leadership.
• Mentor engineers and promote best practices across the team.
