Job summary

Lab49 in New York City is seeking a Mobile Team Tech Lead to guide the design and delivery of next-generation mobile solutions for major finance clients. You will lead architecture, mentor engineers, and contribute hands-on coding when necessary to ensure successful outcomes on high-stakes projects.

You will collaborate with product partners, designers, and clients, shaping mobile experiences for onboarding, account management, and money movement. This is an on-site role in the WTC area in NYC.

Qualifications

• 10-12+ years of experience designing and building complex software systems.
• 4+ years leading Agile teams.
• Experience in consumer banking including onboarding and accounts.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries; CI/CD for mobile apps.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, deliver, and test innovative iOS and Android applications for clients.
• Advocate strong software architecture, engineering best practices, and new technologies.
• Lead by example to improve team velocity and code quality.
