Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Mobile Engineer 4 - Android (Remote-Eligible) to partner with engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-performing features for 100M+ customers. You will lead mobile architecture decisions and mentor engineers in best practices.

You will drive scalable patterns, SDUI/BFF initiatives, and a strong focus on performance, accessibility, and quality within Agile teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience.
• At least 3 years building native mobile apps for Android (Kotlin) or iOS (Swift).

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-performing, quality features for 100M+ customers.
• Provide technical leadership for mobile architecture and design patterns, acting as a multiplier for your team's impact.
• Mentor other engineers, fostering growth through code reviews and platform-specific best practices.
• Lead the design and development of BFFs and Server-Driven UI architectures for scalable experiences.
