Job summary

Cox Automotive’s NextGear Capital seeks a Senior Mobile Engineer to build native mobile experiences that empower customers, teams, and critical operations. You will work with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and fellow mobile developers to deliver high-quality apps and leverage AI-assisted development to accelerate delivery.

Proficiency in Android (Kotlin, Jetpack Compose) and/or iOS (Swift, SwiftUI) is required, with focus on performance, security, and observability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 4 years’ experience.
• Experience with native mobile development and modern architecture patterns.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with AI agents and tools to build, test, and deploy native mobile software across the SDLC.
• Contribute to prompt engineering and share tool usage insights with the team.
• Engage in design and development discussions and plan feature outcomes.
• Assist with feature/element estimation in terms of technical input and time.
• Develop and implement unit and system tests with secure coding practices.
