Job summary

FleetPride is seeking a Mobile Technician II to diagnose and repair heavy-duty Class 7 & 8 trucks and trailers in a shop setting with occasional service calls. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, component replacements, and basic diagnostics to identify failures.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, with a Diesel Technology certificate/degree a plus. A valid CDL is preferred but not mandatory, and you must provide your own hand tools and toolbox.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Diesel technology certificate/degree is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles and determine extent of damage or needed maintenance.
• Provide preventative maintenance solutions and replace/repair components as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, lubrications, and filter replacements.
• Repair brakes and associated systems; diagnose and repair electrical, exhaust, steering, and A/C systems.
• Triage and repair suspension, driveline, and fuel systems; test drive to verify repairs.
