Job summary

Rush Enterprises Inc. is seeking an Experienced Mobile Diesel Technician to support customer fleets by performing on-site service calls and preventive maintenance at client locations.

The role involves maintaining equipment per company standards, using diagnostic tools, and communicating with customers. Tenured technicians with relevant ASE certifications are encouraged to apply, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5 years' experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician.
• Current CDL preferred but not required.
• Medical card as required by the FMVS.
• Peterbilt, International, Ford, Hino, Isuzu, Cummins, & ASE certifications are preferred & rewarded

Responsibilities

• Maintain all aspects of equipment to company standards.
• Perform basic maintenance and inspections on trucks on-site.
• Manage inventory on service truck and keep vehicle stocked.
• Diagnose and repair using diagnostic equipment and service information.
• Submit paperwork accurately in the mobile service program.
• Respond to customer inquiries and foster positive relations.
• Advise customers on future repairs within 3 months.
• Attend training and apply it on the job.
