Job summary

Cox Fleet is a leading provider of on-site mobile maintenance for fleets nationwide. The Sr. Mobile Diesel Technician will perform DOT inspections, PMs, and complex repairs in a mobile/field environment, often taking the lead on-site and coordinating with customers.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; 5 years’ related field experience, or alternative combos as stated.
• Experience performing DOT inspections and PMs on light/medium/heavy trucks.
• Strong diagnostic skills in electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled Preventative Maintenance (PM) and DOT inspections on mobile/field vehicles.
• Carry out light and advanced repairs, diagnostics, and electrical/mechanical work.
• Inspect, test, and diagnose equipment; road-test vehicles to verify repairs.
• Manage parts inventory and documentation on RO forms via iOS and TRAIT app.
