Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Senior Mobile Diesel Technician to perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on light to heavy-duty trucks in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose electrical and mechanical systems, road-test vehicles, and document findings in the TRAIT system.

Required is a high school diploma or GED with 3–5 years’ related experience; DOT/FMCSA compliance awareness and ASE certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus related experience or equivalent.
• ASE certifications preferred; DOT/FMCSA compliance knowledge helpful.
• Experience with diesel/equipment maintenance a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM, DOT inspections, and repairs on mobile equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and functionality.
• Manage parts inventory and document work via RO and TRAIT app.
• Adhere to safety, OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.
