Torque by Ryder in Richland, MS is hiring a Permanent Full Time Senior-Level Mobile Automotive Technician to support our truck fleet. The role offers weekly pay, a base hourly rate of $32, a quarterly $2,000 retention bonus, and a 40-hour flexible schedule (Tue–Sat) with fuel card, company phone, and a dedicated work vehicle for mobile technicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or professional diploma preferred.
• 4+ years of combined classroom training and work experience.
• Non-Commercial Driver License CLASS E required.
• CDL CLASS A preferred.
• State driver's license as required.
• Ability to follow company policies in all areas.
• Demonstrates customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
• Willingness to drive Ryder vehicles and pass required checks (drug test, DOT, background).

Responsibilities

• Perform complex diagnosis, repairs, inspections and preventive maintenance for non-contractual customers.
• Execute routine vehicle maintenance (oil changes, tires, filters, fluids).
• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions and fuel components.
• Inspect and service hydraulic brakes and wheels/tires as needed.
• Possibly operate mobile maintenance vehicle and travel to customer yards.
• Document work orders and repair notes in Salesforce.
• Adhere to safety, compliance and environmental guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
