Job summary

Torque by Ryder in Memphis, TN seeks a Permanent Full Time Senior-Level Mobile Automotive Technician to support a truck fleet. The role includes on-site and field service, ongoing diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs for light-duty trucks.

Competitive hourly pay of $39.00/hr based on experience, plus a retention bonus and benefits. You will work with Salesforce documentation and must pass a Ryder/road safety program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred and vocational/technical training welcomed.
• Strong communication and professional relationship skills are required.
• Ability to work independently and in a team with good time management.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex diagnosis, repairs, and preventative maintenance for non-contractual customers.
• Maintain and repair light duty truck systems and components including brakes, engine performance, and electrical.
• Travel to customer yards within the assigned region and operate mobile maintenance vehicle.
