Torque by Ryder in Memphis, TN is seeking a permanent full-time Mid-Level Mobile Automotive Technician to support our truck fleet. The role includes diagnosis, repair and preventative maintenance on heavy-duty vehicles, with on-site mobile service.

Youll join a team focused on safety, training, and career growth within a dynamic environment. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 2+ years of relevant training/experience, and a CDL/license as applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two years or more in combination of classroom training and work experience.
• Non-Commercial Driver License CLASS E.
• Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A preferred.
• State driver's license as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnosis, repairs, inspections and preventative maintenance for non-contractual customers.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance including tune-ups, oil changes, tire changes and inspections.
• Assist higher-grade technicians to diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, and fuel components.
• Hydraulic brake inspections, repairs, and replacements.
• Operate mobile maintenance vehicle and travel to customer yards within region.
• Maintain proper documentation of work orders and repair notes.
