Job summary

Rezilient Health is seeking a Staff Mobile Engineer to own the technical strategy and architecture for the member mobile app. You will lead a hands-on rebuild of our consumer-grade app and guide multi‑quarter platform decisions across iOS and Android.

You will collaborate with Product and UX leads, connect wearables data and AI-enabled features, and mentor engineers to deliver a secure, high‑performance mobile experience that drives engagement and retention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• 12–15 years of software engineering experience, including 7+ years building and shipping native mobile apps and ownership of mobile architecture through scale.
• Deep, hands-on expertise in native iOS (Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit) and native Android (Kotlin, Jetpack Compose) development.
• Shipped and scaled at least one consumer mobile health, wellness, or fitness app with a large active user base.
• Experience integrating health data platforms and connected devices (Apple HealthKit, Android Health Connect).
• Proven mobile release discipline: CI/CD, automated testing, crash and performance monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Own mobile strategy and architecture for the member app across iOS and Android, deciding cross‑platform vs native paths.
• Lead hands-on delivery of the rebuilt member app, writing production code and setting engineering patterns.
• Set mobile engineering standards for architecture, data handling, performance budgets, accessibility, testing, and reviews.
• Build mature release engineering: automated build, test, release pipelines, code signing, phased rollouts, app store reviews.
• Design secure authentication and on‑device data handling for PHI, including HIPAA-aligned logging and analytics.
• Architect data flow from health devices and health platforms to ensure useful, trustworthy clinical workflows.
• Mentor front-end and mobile engineers, drive product analytics, experiments, and design reviews.
