Job summary

Rula, a remote-first company, is seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer to build and scale patient-facing mobile apps for iOS and Android using React Native. You’ll own the end-to-end delivery of impactful features, partnering with Product, Design, and backend engineers to create intuitive, reliable experiences that improve access to mental health care.

You will evolve our mobile architecture, enhance engineering quality through testing and performance optimizations, and mentor teammates while shaping

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years on mobile apps.
• 3+ years with React Native, TypeScript, and modern React.
• Experience shipping features end-to-end with design to release.
• Knowledge of iOS/Android native platforms (Swift/Obj-C, Kotlin/Java).
• Ability to own projects from design to delivery and communicate tradeoffs.
• Collaborative with cross-functional teams and strong estimation skills.
• Mentor junior engineers and discuss AI-assisted development tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of mobile features across iOS and Android using React Native.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and backend engineers to improve UX and accessibility.
• Evolve mobile architecture and improve quality through testing and performance tuning.
