Job summary

RecruiterForge is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to develop AI products that advance clinical research and help patients access therapies. This full-time, remote role collaborates with a growing healthcare research organization serving sites, mobile clinics, and clinical teams.

You will build scalable ML solutions, deploy models for patient recruitment and trial forecasting, and create data pipelines using Python, AWS, and CI/CD.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying production ML solutions at scale.
• Strong Python skills with pandas and scikit-learn; experience with TF or PyTorch.
• Experience with AWS and containerization (Docker).
• Solid grounding in MLOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and data drift detection.
• Expertise in NLP, LLMs, model evaluation, and feature engineering.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy scalable AI products that accelerate clinical trials and improve patient outcomes.
• Develop ML models and LLM-powered agents for patient recruitment, enrollment forecasting, and study feasibility, while extending the AI knowledge base architecture.
• Create reliable data pipelines and production deployments using Python, Clojure, AWS services such as Athena, Bedrock, and SageMaker, dbt, Prefect, and CI/CD automation with monitoring.
• Work with data scientists, product managers, designers, engineers, and domain experts to integrate AI into clinical research workflows.
• Track advances in LLMs, NLP, probabilistic modeling, and related methods, experiment with promising approaches, and turn prototypes into production features.
• Automate and improve processes while balancing detailed engineering work, empathy, communication, and a willingness to learn.
