Job summary

Automate Medical in Boston is seeking a senior ML/AI leader to build and ship the platform surfaces—dashboards, models, and integrations—that healthcare professionals and researchers rely on daily.

You will operate in a HIPAA-aware stack, own validation across cohorts, held-out data, and subgroup analyses, and work directly with clinicians and security leads in a lean, no-bureaucracy environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of senior-level ML/AI experience.
• Evidence-based decision making and transparent reporting.
• Comfort in a HIPAA-aware security environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with customers and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Ship platform surfaces—dashboards, models, integrations—for four healthcare audiences.
• Maintain a five-stage validation bar: cohort, held-out eval, subgroup, review, monitoring.
• Operate inside a HIPAA-aware stack with secure tenancy and audit logs.
• Collaborate directly with clinicians, security, and engineering leads.
