Coinbase, Inc. is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join the CX Intelligence Engineering team. You will design and build AI-powered systems that connect Help Center, chatbots, and agent workflows, focusing on secure, scalable, and compliant solutions.

You will own end-to-end ML initiatives, mentor peers, and collaborate with product, design, CX, and engineering teams to raise automation and customer satisfaction across Coinbase’s support experiences.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of professional experience in ML and software engineering.
• Hands-on with large language models and generative AI ecosystems.
• Proficiency in Python for production ML code.
• Domain depth in NLP, information retrieval, or conversational AI.
• Experience writing technical design docs and communicating ML concepts clearly.
• Ability to use generative AI with human oversight to improve workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Architect and deploy the multi-agent framework for agent assist and secure LLM-powered actions at scale.
• Own end-to-end project execution for complex ML initiatives from design to production.
• Build and optimize AI-driven concierge chat and agent copilot experiences.
• Develop systems to detect bad actors and adversarial inputs ensuring safety at scale.
• Establish best practices for ML system design and mentoring teammates.
