Job summary

ZoomInfo is seeking a senior individual contributor to own strategy across the data graph, entity resolution, and buying intent while remaining hands-on with the hardest problems in AI-enabled insights. You will define when ML, statistics, or LLMs are the right tools and shape standards for the entire team.

You will lead evaluation frameworks, data contracts, and cost-aware production systems, mentoring engineers and influencing product direction.

Qualifications

• Set technical direction as an IC for a problem area spanning more than one team with production ML systems.
• Broad ML experience on large tabular data, statistics, NLP at scale, with depth in at least one area.
• Defined and driven adoption of evaluation standards beyond your own team for systems with no single right answer.
• Track record of changing how a group builds or measures—introducing baselines or reviews used by others.
• Made cost and capacity decisions for model training and serving, with cost tracked per unit of work.
• Hands-on in production Python and strong SQL with distributed data processing; daily use of AI coding tools.

Responsibilities

• Set technical strategy for the data graph, entity resolution, buying intent, and agent context.
• Frame and ship problems nobody has framed yet, including extraction for companies with no public footprint at web scale.
• Define evaluation standards and release gates; know where each one breaks.
• Define data contracts between the data graph, intent signals, and the agents that consume them.
• Turn good choices into defaults across the group and manage uncertainty metrics.
• Lead design reviews, mentor senior engineers, shape hiring, and represent the team's technical judgment.
