Job summary

ZoomInfo seeks a senior machine learning leader to drive the B2B data graph strategy end to end, from data to deployment. You’ll ship code and prototypes alongside engineers while mentoring a team of ML engineers and data scientists.

You will balance classical ML, production LLMs, and agentic systems, setting evaluation standards, owning inference cost and latency, and collaborating with product, security, and legal teams to clearly communicate results to executives.

Qualifications

• Significant experience building and shipping production ML systems.
• Track record of hiring and developing senior ML engineers and data scientists.
• Hands-on today: shipping code and prototyping with agentic coding tools daily.
• Deep ML and data science expertise (supervised learning, feature engineering, inference, experiments) with SQL.
• Owned inference cost, latency, and capacity alongside model quality and build-versus-buy decisions.

Responsibilities

• Extend ZoomInfo's B2B data graph into the long tail, increasing coverage and accuracy.
• Lead the team's work on agent memory and data provenance between user input and system data.
• Choose the right method for each problem — classical ML, LLMs, or code — based on evidence.
• Define evaluation bar, build evaluation datasets, regression gates, and experiment designs.
• Own inference cost, latency, capacity, and build-versus-buy and distillation decisions.
• Hire and develop ML engineers, data scientists, and researchers; grow senior engineers into leaders.
• Represent the team's work across product, platform, security, and legal; present results to executives.
• Set standards for agentic coding tools and rigorous code reviews.
