Job summary

ZoomInfo is seeking a lead for the team that builds the intelligence its AI agents reason over. You will own the B2B data graph strategy end to end, blending classical machine learning and data science with LLM and agentic systems, while shipping code alongside the engineers you lead.

You will hire and develop ML engineers, set evaluation standards, and manage inference cost, latency, and capacity in close collaboration with product and execs.

Qualifications

• Significant, demonstrated experience building and shipping production ML systems; leadership through hands-on work.
• Track record of hiring and developing senior ML engineers and data scientists.
• Hands-on today: shipping code, prototyping, and using agentic coding tools with rigorous review.
• Deep classical ML and data science expertise (supervised learning, feature engineering, statistical inference, experiment design, strong SQL) alongside production LLM/agentic systems.
• Owns inference cost, latency, and capacity alongside model quality; can make build-vs-buy decisions.

Responsibilities

• Extend ZoomInfo's B2B data graph into the long tail and improve accuracy for companies with small public footprints.
• Lead work on agent memory and distinguish between user-supplied data and system records.
• Choose methods (classical ML, LLM, or code) based on evidence and stop unproductive work.
• Define evaluation bar for models and agents, build datasets, regression gates, and experiments.
• Own inference cost, latency, and capacity as core disciplines.
• Hire and develop ML engineers, data scientists, and research engineers, growing senior engineers into leaders.
• Represent the team's work across product, platform, security, and legal; communicate results to executives.
• Set the standard for agentic coding tools with precise specs and rigorous code review.
