Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Phantom Works in Berkeley, MO seeks a Senior Engineering Manager to lead missions systems and software engineering, mentor teams, and coordinate with customers and suppliers for development transitioning to production. A Top Secret clearance is required, with relocation offered where eligible.

You will oversee staffing, drive integrated program plans, and engage senior stakeholders while shaping talent development within a dynamic, high‑impact environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or closely related field.
• Level L (Senior): 5+ years in leadership roles with Bachelor's degree (or 3+ years with Masters/PhD).
• 5+ years in mission systems and software development and integration.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, testing, and delivery of Phantom Works mission systems and software for technology development and production transition.
• Oversee engineering technology design and integration to meet requirements on schedule, within budget, and with first-time quality.
• Drive planning and execution across cost, schedule, and technical performance.
• Mentor and develop technology and mission systems personnel; manage staffing and resources.
• Provide updates to PW Leadership Team and stakeholders.
