Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Mission Systems Engineer to deliver end-to-end autonomous air-system outcomes. You will select, source, and validate payloads and systems, drive mission-level modeling and interface across internal teams, and own subcontractor development.

The role demands experience in payload integration and rigorous modeling to realize next-generation autonomy. You will work within the AD&S team to architect, validate, and deliver high-performance solutions, with close collaboration

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Top Secret security clearance is required.
• 8+ years in a Science/Engineering field.
• 2+ years in payload integration and validation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct trades for communications, sensing, and effector systems to deliver mission outcomes.
• Architect multi-function payload and system solution concepts, requirements, layouts and interfaces.
• Develop or adapt physics-based models of payload performance.
• Develop validated effects-based models for mission-level modeling and simulation tools.
• Validate system performance with test and integration engineers.
• Collaborate with AD&S teams to integrate and deliver high-performance systems.
• Manage subcontractors or internal teams to define subsystem requirements and drive performance.
• Communicate results in multiple forms internally and externally.
