Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a systems engineer to lead end-to-end development of autonomous flight and mission systems in the United States. You will define requirements, architect solutions, and collaborate with hardware, software, and product teams to deliver integrated platforms with reliability and performance.

The role emphasizes hands-on prototyping, testing, and refining software in distributed environments, while ensuring regulatory and quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• 5+ years post-grad industry experience (EE, aerospace, or systems engineering).
• Hands-on prototyping, troubleshooting, and build experience.
• Experience developing automated test scripts/frameworks using Python, MATLAB, etc.
• Extremely organized and detail-oriented.
• Must hold a U.S. Secret security clearance, or higher.
• Ability to travel up to 25% for test planning and execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead development for an end to end solution by collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements and system architecture.
• Design, develop, and maintain system components that meet functional and performance requirements in complex system environments
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure reliability, scalability, and resilience of software applications in distributed contexts
• Work closely with hardware engineers and product managers to integrate software and hardware components
• Collaborate with the team to define and document software engineering processes and practices, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements
