Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Mission Systems Engineer to advance autonomous air systems and payload concepts. You will select and validate mission-relevant payloads, drive system integration, and coordinate across internal teams and subcontractors.

Authentic system trades, physics-based modeling, and hands-on verification are central to this role. The position emphasizes end-to-end mission outcomes, with collaboration across test, design, and integration teams to deliver high-performance

Qualifications

Active Top Secret clearance required.
Experience with radar, EO/IR, RF, EW systems.
8+ years in relevant engineering field.
2+ years experience in seeker design.
2+ years payload integration and validation.

Responsibilities

Conduct trades for communications, sensing, and effector systems to deliver mission outcomes with the AD&S team.
Architect autonomous payload and system solution concepts, requirements, layout, interfaces, and employment.
Develop physics-based models of payload system performance with SME input.
Create validated models for mission-level simulations and tools.
Validate system performance with test and integration engineers.
Collaborate with AD&S teams to deliver high-performance systems to customers.
Manage subcontractors or internal teams to define subsystem requirements and drive performance.
Communicate results across internal and external stakeholders.
