Job summary

Leidos is seeking a proven technical program management leader with deep experience in large-scale mission software development, full lifecycle modernization, and distributed engineering organizations. The role demands hands-on credibility in software development and sustainment, not just oversight, and a track record delivering mission-critical systems for DoD/IC.

The position targets programs exceeding $20M/year, with modernization toward secure cloud, hybrid, or containerized architectures

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a software-related field; 15+ years of software-intensive program leadership.
Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain a polygraph.
Experience leading large, geographically distributed engineering organizations.
Proven track record managing $20M+/year software development and sustainment portfolios.
Deep experience with full-stack software development, DevOps, CI/CD, cloud, cyber, and enterprise data systems.

Responsibilities

Provide technical program leadership for large-scale mission software development, integration, deployment, and sustainment.
Oversee complex, multi-discipline teams delivering secure, high-performance capabilities across analytics, cyber, geospatial, and enterprise data workflows.
Engage government sponsors as senior technical interface, shaping technical direction and growth.
Ensure disciplined accountability for technical, schedule, and financial performance to maintain baselines.
Drive rapid prototyping, IR&D, and innovation pipelines to accelerate mission capability insertion.
