Job summary

Leidos LLC is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to build robust software, systems, and cloud environments while maintaining critical systems in a DevOps framework. You will contribute to design, development, implementation, and testing of customer tools and applications across the software lifecycle.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and teams to align user stories with customer use cases while applying best practices in a compliant, security-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Significant experience with Agile practices and DevOps in the SDLC.
• Strong Java, Spring, cloud experience (C2S) and SDLC delivery.
• Experience with JUnit, Katalon, Python, and Bash in an Agile environment.
• Experience with Commercial Cloud Platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and cloud data services (S3, RDS, EFS).
• Experience with version control and issue tracking systems.
• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years or Master’s with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Participates in/directs software initiatives using Java, JavaScript, Python, SpringBoot, and Hibernate.
• Develops software validation/testing methods with JUnit and Katalon and automates deployments.
• Develop, prototype, and deploy solutions within Commercial Cloud Solutions leveraging cloud services.
• Coordinate with team members, Product Owners and Scrum Masters for User Story alignment.
• Support SAFe Agile lifecycle and use DevOps tools like GitHub, Jenkins, Unix bash scripting, JIRA and Confluence.
• Analyze and coordinate infrastructure needs driven by developed software to meet mission needs.
• Apply best practices and SOPs to meet customer technical needs.
