Job summary

Leidos seeks a Chief Engineer to lead a large, national-software and system engineering program. You will ensure the technical integrity and deliverables, and guide cross-discipline integration across Agile teams.

The role requires TS/SCI with polygraph, 20+ years in systems/software engineering, and expertise in SIGINT/CNO environments, cloud architectures, and large-scale agile programs. You will mentor staff and interact with government leaders.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 20 years of systems/software engineering experience.
• Experience with SIGINT/CNO environments and sensor enterprise.
• Experience leading large-scale Agile development programs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure integrity, quality, and completeness of technical work and deliverables.
• Lead cross-discipline integration among Agile teams.
• Apply systems engineering across lifecycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement.
• Interact with Government on engineering considerations and issues.
• Communicate with program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.
• Mentor mid-level and junior staff.
