Job summary

Leidos seeks a Systems Integration Engineer to support the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Keyport. You will plan, coordinate, and execute hardware and software integration within a secure IT environment, working closely with government leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver mission-critical systems for UUV operations.

The role spans integration planning, testing, deployment, and transition activities, with emphasis on clear technical communications and comprehensive documentation

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree in IT/Engineering or related field.
• Active TS/SCI clearance or SCI eligibility.
• DoD 8140 compliant certifications (e.g., Network+/Security+/CCNA).
• Experience integrating hardware and software in secure IT environments.
• Cloud experience with AWS and related hosting technologies.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute hardware/software integration in a secure IT environment.
• Collaborate with government leadership and technical teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Deliver clear status updates, briefings, and reports for leadership and stakeholders.
• Translate complex concepts into concise documentation for technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Support full system lifecycle: integration planning, testing, deployments, and transitions.
• Document designs, integration plans, and system configurations.
• Facilitate technical working groups and coordinate across multiple stakeholders.
• Ensure alignment with cybersecurity, operational, and mission requirements.
• Support end-user training and knowledge transfer during implementation.
