Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to support the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Keyport. You will plan, coordinate, and execute hardware/software integration in a secure IT environment to support UUVOC missions, collaborating with government leadership and cross-functional teams.

You will contribute to system testing, phased deployments, and deployment activities, while delivering clear documentation and briefing leaders.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited bachelor’s degree in IT/Engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience, or master’s with 2+ years.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility or TS/SCI.
• Current DoD 8140 compliant certification (Network+/Security+/CCNA).
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience integrating hardware and software in networked IT environments.
• Two (2)+ years of cloud experience (AWS).
• Broad understanding of full lifecycle for secure IT system integration.
• Experience supporting system testing, phased deployments, and end-user training.
• Experience leading technical working groups and coordinating across stakeholders.
• Experience with secure integration planning and transition activities.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination, and execution of hardware and software integration in a secure IT environment.
• Collaborate with government leadership and technical teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Prepare status updates, technical briefings, and reports for leadership and stakeholders.
• Translate technical concepts into clear documentation for technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Support full system lifecycle including planning, testing, deployments, and transition activities.
• Document designs, integration plans, implementation activities, and configurations.
• Facilitate working groups and coordinate across multiple organizations to resolve issues.
• Drive alignment with cybersecurity, operational, and mission requirements.
• Support end-user training and knowledge transfer during implementation.

Education

ABET-accredited degree in Information Technology or Engineering

Master's degree in Information Technology or Engineering (ABET-accredited)

DoD 8140 compliant certification (e.g., Network+, Security+, CCNA)
