The Waldinger Corporation seeks an experienced Mission Critical Project Executive to provide executive leadership for large-scale construction projects. This role reports to the Special Projects Group and may oversee major initiatives across various sites, focusing on safety, quality, schedule, and client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will drive project outcomes from planning through commissioning, mentoring teams, and strengthening client relationships while advancing operational practices

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience; 5–7 years in mission-critical projects or senior leadership
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, building construction, business, or related field preferred or equivalent experience
• Willingness to relocate to project site after training and travel to Midwest locations

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for large-scale mission-critical projects from planning to closeout
• Ensure safety, quality, financial performance, schedule, and client satisfaction objectives
• Oversee project teams, establish expectations, monitor health, and resolve issues
• Develop and maintain relationships with key client decision-makers
• Identify risks, review contracts, and implement mitigation strategies
• Develop project leaders and promote continuous improvement within the team
• Contribute to growth initiatives and new capabilities within the organization
