Job summary

The Waldinger Corporation seeks an experienced Mission Critical Project Executive to provide executive leadership for large-scale, mission-critical construction projects. This role reports to our Special Projects Group and oversees projects from planning through commissioning and closeout, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and client satisfaction.

It offers the chance to shape processes, develop teams, and drive growth across diverse locations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience, including 5-7 years in mission-critical leadership roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, building construction, business or related field preferred.
• Relocation to project site after a brief training period.
• Travel required for Midwest projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning and accountability for financial performance of assigned projects.
• Maintain executive accountability for safety, quality, financial performance, schedule, and client satisfaction.
• Provide executive oversight for complex projects and leadership of project teams.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key client decision-makers and partners.
• Oversee contract review, risk identification, and risk mitigation activities.
• Develop project leaders and promote continuous improvement and growth.
