Job summary

The Waldinger Corporation is seeking an experienced Mission Critical Project Executive to provide executive leadership for large-scale, mission-critical construction projects in the Midwest. This role reports to the Des Moines, IA branch and focuses on delivering safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

As a senior leader, you will own project outcomes, drive accountability, mentor project leaders, manage risk, and promote continuous improvement to support growth and client relationships across

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience, including 5–7 years in mission-critical projects or Sr. leadership in construction or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, building construction, business, or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to relocate to project site after a brief training period.
• Project will be large-scale, mission-critical and located in the Midwest.
• Travel will be required.

Responsibilities

• Financial planning and accountability for financial performance of assigned projects; evaluate estimates and forecasts.
• Provide executive oversight for complex projects and project leaders; monitor health and resolve issues.
• Maintain executive accountability for safety, quality, schedule, and client satisfaction; ensure consistent practices.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key client decision-makers; build a strong pipeline of work.
• Oversee contract review and risk mitigation; communicate risks and actions clearly.
• Develop project leaders, promote collaboration, and address training and staffing needs.
• Support growth initiatives and development of new capabilities to drive business results.
