The Waldinger Corporation seeks an experienced Mission Critical Project Executive to provide executive leadership for large-scale construction projects in the Midwest, reporting through Des Moines, IA operations. This role drives safety, quality, schedule, and client satisfaction while shaping project leadership and robust operational practices across the organization.

You will own project outcomes, lead cross‑functional teams, manage client relationships, risk, and financial performance, and

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience with senior leadership in construction or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, building construction, business, or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• Availability to relocate to project after a brief training period.
• Project will be large-scale, mission-critical, located in the Midwest.
• Travel will be required.

Responsibilities

• Financial planning and accountability for financial performance of projects.
• Maintain executive accountability for safety, quality, financial performance, schedule, and client satisfaction.
• Provide executive oversight for complex projects and project leaders.
• Develops and maintains relationships with key client decision-makers.
• Oversees contract review and risk management for assigned projects and teams.
• Develops project leaders and promotes collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Supports growth and development of the business through strategic initiatives and client opportunities.
