Job summary

The Waldinger Corporation seeks an experienced Mission Critical Project Executive to lead large-scale construction projects in the Midwest, reporting through the Des Moines, IA branch. This role oversees planning, commissioning, and closeout, driving safety, quality, schedule, and client satisfaction while building strong client relationships and teams.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years of project leadership in mission-critical environments, a related degree, and readiness to relocate with travel

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience, including mission-critical leadership in construction or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, building construction, business, or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• Availability to relocate to project after a brief training period. Travel will be required.

Responsibilities

• Provides executive leadership for large-scale mission-critical projects from planning through closeout.
• Controls safety, quality, financial performance, schedule, and client satisfaction.
• Aligns client and organizational priorities; develops project leaders and promotes best practices.
• Oversees risk management, contracts, and key client relationships at senior levels.
• Develops processes and teams to support business growth and operational success.
