Job summary

The Waldinger Corporation seeks an experienced Mission Critical Project Executive to provide executive leadership for large-scale, mission-critical construction projects in the Midwest. This role reports through our Des Moines, IA branch operations and focuses on safety, quality, schedule, and client satisfaction while building high-performing teams.

The ideal candidate brings a track record of managing complex mission-critical projects from planning through closeout, strong client relationship

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience, with 5–7 years in mission-critical leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in CM/engineering/building construction, business, or related field.
• Willingness to relocate to Midwest project site.

Responsibilities

• Financial Planning: Leads financial planning and accountability for project financials.
• Operations Management: Maintains executive accountability for safety, quality, schedule, and client satisfaction.
• Project Oversight: Provides executive oversight and removes barriers to ensure outcomes.
• Client Relationship Ownership: Develops relationships with key client decision-makers and leaders.
• Risk Management: Oversees risk identification and mitigation for projects.
• Team Development: Develops project leaders and promotes continuous improvement.
• Business Growth and Organizational Development: Supports strategic initiatives and growth opportunities.
