Clune Construction is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead field operations, preconstruction planning and project delivery for complex interiors and healthcare spaces in the San Francisco Bay Area.

The role demands 6–15 years of experience, strong leadership, and a proactive approach to safety, schedule adherence, and client collaboration. This on-site position offers growth opportunities within a respected, employee-owned company.

Qualifications

• 6–15 years of experience managing commercial interior, healthcare and/or mission-critical projects.
• Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Architecture or Engineering preferred.
• Experience directing field teams, coordinating trade partners, and ensuring QA/QC compliance.

Responsabilités

• Lead preconstruction and field planning with construction phasing, site logistics, and sequencing strategies.
• Direct daily construction activities, coordinate trade partners, and drive schedule performance.
• Promote safety culture, enforce OSHA standards, and lead QA/QC efforts to meet project requirements.
• Maintain short-term schedules, track milestones, and implement recovery plans when delays occur.
• Build strong client relationships and represent Clune professionally throughout construction.
• Lead project closeout, turnover, and lessons-learned discussions with teams.
