Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Mission Autonomy Flight Test Engineer to advance testing methodologies for autonomy systems and manage end-to-end flight test programs. You will design robust test plans, analyze complex data, and work with software, hardware, and product teams to improve autonomous capabilities across simulated and real-world missions.

You will coordinate with private and government ranges, travel to testing locations, and support rapid iteration of autonomy algorithms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, robotics, or related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of flight testing experience with autonomous or remotely piloted systems.
• Experience developing and executing test plans under tight timelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement test plans for autonomous systems across simulated mission profiles.
• Analyze test data to validate performance and drive improvements in autonomy algorithms.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, and product teams to define test requirements and objectives.
• Lead end-to-end test management, from requirements shaping to execution and reporting.
• Run simulations that replicate real-world scenarios to accelerate testing cycles and inform deployment decisions.
• Coordinate with private and government test ranges for system evaluation.
