Job summary

The GEO Group Australia Pty Ltd. is seeking a Lead MIS Specialist to provide management and technical expertise to the MIS division and support facility IT operations.

You will oversee daily MIS functions, ensure staff coverage, and coordinate with regional teams for complex issues. Responsibilities include first/second line end-user support, fault finding, backups, security, and report generation using Crystal Reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with at least five years of work experience in a related role with hardware and software operations.
• Demonstrated lead worker or supervisory experience.
• Ability to identify and solve computer problems and work with staff and vendors.
• Good troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve technical problems independently.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth day-to-day MIS operations.
• Provide first/second level end-user support for IT infrastructure.
• Maintain backups and security; monitor budgets where applicable.
• Create and modify reports using Crystal Reports on GEOnet system.
