Stantec’s Reno, Elko, or Las Vegas offices seek a mid to senior project manager with 10+ years in mining-related environmental services and permitting. Lead multiple planning projects, build client relations, and drive business in the mining sector.

Role focuses on permitting oversight, regulatory strategy, and coordinating with regulatory agencies, with travel across Nevada and adjacent states. Strong leadership and Excel/Office skills required.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of environmental impact analysis methods and mining permitting knowledge.
• Experience managing mining industry client relationships with environmental services.
• Preexisting relationships with mining companies in Nevada or nearby states.
• Western US travel to Nevada and adjacent states; Nevada base preferred.

Responsabilités

• Guide permitting and planning across diverse mining projects, including client contact, budget control, schedule, and subcontractor management.
• Mentor staff in regulatory strategy and project management practices.
• Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and local governments.
• Oversee ecological resource assessments and environmental studies for mining projects.
• Prepare NEPA docs, EISs, EAs, and CEs and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support business development and pricing discussions for proposals.
