Job summary

Centerra Gold Inc. in Goldfield District Project, Nevada, seeks a Manager, Permitting to lead regulatory approvals and permitting strategies for development and operations.

The role requires regular site travel across the United States, with coordination across environmental, engineering, legal, and project teams. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in permitting or regulatory affairs, a relevant degree, and strong stakeholder engagement skills to ensure timely approvals and compliant project

Qualifications

• 8+ years in permitting, regulatory affairs, or project development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering.
• Experience managing permitting submissions for mining or major projects.
• Familiar with US federal, Nevada state, and local permits.
• Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and consultants.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement permitting strategies for Goldfield development and operations.
• Lead preparation, submission, and tracking of permit applications and amendments.
• Identify regulatory risks and mitigate potential delays in project schedules.
• Maintain relationships with federal, state, and local agencies and consultants.
• Coordinate with Environmental, Engineering, and Projects teams to integrate requirements.
• Oversee budgets, timelines, and scopes of work for external experts.
