Job summary

Turner Mining Group is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to lead maintenance and safety efforts across mining sites. The role focuses on preserving equipment, driving safe production, and mentoring technicians while upholding Turner values and client relations.

The successful candidate will oversee quality and efficiency, participate in hazard identification, and support training programs to improve preventative maintenance practices.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience in mining/heavy industry preferred.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Willingness to adhere to OSHA/MSHA regulatory requirements.
• Ability to lead safety and daily training.
• Willingness to travel on short notice and work varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety-focused maintenance on site and drive reliable production.
• Coordinate with foreman and crews to identify and fix equipment issues.
• Assist with on-site MSHA regulatory training and compliance checks.
• Develop and mentor junior technicians to improve skill proficiency.
• Attend daily meetings and report on safety and production metrics.
