Job summary

AECOM seeks a highly motivated Senior Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to join our Mining Project Delivery team. You will lead I&C engineering on mining projects, coordinate multi-discipline design efforts, and mentor staff. A strong background in P&ID, DCS/PLC systems and CAD is essential.

Willingness to travel and obtain PE in applicable states is preferred. Join a global team delivering critical infrastructure and mining facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering required.
• 8+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency.
• PE in Colorado or ability to acquire one preferred.
• MSHA Miner training or willingness to obtain preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide project leadership for instrumentation & controls engineering on mining projects.
• Lead as discipline lead on mid-sized to large projects.
• Coordinate designs, calculations, reports and specifications across multi-discipline teams.
• Develop proposals and support growth of the Mining practice.
• Mentor technical staff and ensure quality deliverables.
