Job summary

AECOM seeks an Electrical Engineering Discipline Lead to support mining projects across multiple locations, including Denver, Salt Lake City, Phoenix or Tucson. Lead and build a team of electrical engineers, oversee instrumentation & controls, electrical design and project execution.

Applicants should have a PE license, 8+ years in electrical engineering, and the ability to travel domestically. The role is hybrid with relocation not provided and offers a competitive compensation range.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Professional Engineering License (PE).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR check.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical leadership for a specialty and is a fully capable professional.
• Plans and coordinates detailed phases of engineering projects focusing on electrical and instrumentation & controls design for mining projects.
• Serve as lead electrical engineer or discipline lead on mid- to large-size projects and mentor staff.
