Job summary

Atoms seeks a seasoned field deployment leader for on-site autonomous haulage deployments across the US. The role requires extensive mining experience and the ability to lead a regional field team through permitting, scheduling, and safety compliance, while ensuring customer accountability and project delivery.

Expect travel up to 75% with regional accommodations during deployments and a base salary range of $81,000–$102,000 per year, plus equity and total rewards.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of direct mining experience.
• 5–10 years in a leadership role.
• Experience with technology rollouts (autonomy, telematics, etc.).
• University degree in Mining Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects to agreed performance metrics and ensure seamless integration into production cycles.
• Lead the local field team including permitting, scheduling, safety compliance, and performance.
• Hold the customer accountable for deliverables, resources, and readiness of site/route/equipment.
• Serve as primary point of contact between customer site and Pronto HQ with reports and escalation paths.
• Set up or modify operational processes to accommodate autonomous haulage.
• Lead customer training programs and oversee formal handover to mine operations.
