Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan is seeking a senior maintenance planning leader to oversee division planning, supervise staff, and coordinate with frontline supervisors. You will set objectives, monitor processes, and drive runtime forecasting with monthly plans and reconciliations.

The role requires extensive SAP maintenance knowledge, budgeting skills, and strong communication. You will operate on-site at mining/mfg facilities with a housing allowance and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Progressive maintenance leadership experience in mining/manufacturing or industrial ops.
• Mentoring capability and strong leadership/organization skills.
• Extensive SAP maintenance modules knowledge and data proficiency.
• Budget preparation, monitoring and administration, plus MS Office skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly with staff at all levels and foster safety.

Responsibilities

• Oversee division planning, supervise planning staff, and coordinate with frontline Supervisors.
• Set objectives for Planners; maintain relationships; monitor planning processes and safety.
• Drive runtime forecasting; monthly plan development and stakeholder reconciliation.
• Prepare division budget recommendations; ensure materials management aligns with goals.
• Spend time in the field reviewing job prep, execution, and post-job follow-up.
• Ensure adherence to Freeport-McMoRan safety practices and standards.
