Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan is seeking a Maintenance Planner to support the Henderson mine and mill operations. The role involves planning, coordinating, and ensuring readiness of materials and equipment for field activities.

You will work under the supervision of the area supervisor and interact with the Global Supply Chain to manage inventories and service contracts. The ideal candidate brings several years of field maintenance or planning experience in mining or industrial settings and a solid

Qualifications

• Minimum four years field maintenance experience in mining/manufacturing or industrial operations, with emphasis on planning or related areas.
• Understanding of maintenance planning principles and processes.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and maintenance management systems.
• Professional written and oral communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the area Supervisor with job preparation, execution and follow-up per Freeport-McMoRan standards.
• Collaborate to schedule and prioritize work orders; participate in planning meetings.
• Manage runtime forecasting and maintain schedules in the system.
• Maintain activity histories in SAP and ensure data integrity.
